I have a 1988 force 125 with the blue power packs. I had the boat looked at and the shop said the pwerpacks where bad. When I origanally brought the boat to the shop it ran on two cylinders now it doesn,t run at all, they said they had it running but I told them to take the new packs back off and put the old ones back on (mistake) because they wanted to charge me $300 a piece for the packs + labor. and it went from 400 to get it running to 900 when I went to pick it up. Anyway I put two new packs on and still no spark. I triple checked and all the wires seem to be connected correctly with all wires secure. What could be wrong and where should I start? I have a manual but it is a little hard to follow and I don,t have some of the special testing tools and I figured it would be easier to replace some of the parts then to buy the tools. Any help would be greatlly appreciated. P.s. I did check the kill switch behind the dash and it has already been disconected.(was always like that).

check the sator. If you look in your manual there are 2 pairs of wires comming off the sator to your CDI boxes. On the wires going back to the sator use your ohm meter and check the ohms. It should read about 600ohms. If you dont have a meter go and buy one at radio shack with auto ranging it should be no more than 50 bucks.
