I have a 50 Hp force motor I had just bought and it has spark on cylinder 1, so I went ahead and ohmed out the trigger and saw my cylinder 1 trigger was reading about 46.5 ohms. I went ahead and bought a replacement from eBay and tested it and got 48.5 on both, and after installing it I still had no spark so I checked the ohms and it it read 43 ohms on cylinder 1 but when I disconnected it from the motor it goes back up to 48.5 ohms. I went ahead and pulled my coil off and ohmed it out and I had resistance from the the end of the plug wire to the brown and blue wires where as my other coil did not do that I was wondering if the coil is messed up and causing my lack of spark to the cylinder and if so is there a place to go to get decently cheap parts for the motor as most things I have seen are very pricey.

First, swap the coils and look if the issue moves.
If it moves then the coil is bad.
Also check the spring in the HT wire boot.
It maybe rust and bad connection cause the spring is just pierced through the HT wire.
You can check out Ebay for a "new" coil.
Ebay is a good source for parts.
