i have a 1988 force C the motor dont seem to idle right so i cleaned carb and replace float needle and idle screw didnt help any so i used my dva meter and im thimking the stator is bad it should read 300v but it jumps to almost 300v the back to 250v and stays could someone tell me if this is correct or do i need to replace the stator? thanks any help is appreciated.
