1988 Force doesnt go over 20 mph

Hello - our Bayliner has a 125 HP and isnt going over 20 mph when the throttle is pushed all the way down. Any suggestions or help would be greatly appreciated.

Compression, fuel pump diaphram, RPMs?

What are your compression readings? Do you have spark on all of the cylinders?

If you can post RPM at WOT it will really help in troubleshooting. There are many reasons why it would not go beyond 20 MPH, engine problem, i.e. misfiring, low compression, improper timing; too much load or improper trim; wrong size props; wrong fuel mixture; etc.
