Start with the basics. Perform the following tests and report results...
1. Compression test. This is a must do. Do with with plugs out. Good battery with clean connections tightened with a wrench.
2. Open air gap spark check. Again with all plugs out. Check each lead with the appropriate tester. They are like $10 at a parts store. Set the tester to 7/16".
3. Fuel sample into a clear jar.
4. Post the model number found on the engine clamp.. it will be something like J110tlede...a letter, 110, and.more letters.
Give us the answers to these questions and one of us here will be able to steer you in the best direction.
Diagnosing a motor is a series of tests, none of which should be skipped. In theory, tools excepted, diagnosis should be relatively pain free $wise. Speculation wastes time and money and frequently costs more of both.
