Hello,
The above motor has run fine until end of last weekend and today. Last weekend Went out, idled fine, top speed/cruising speed fine. Stopped for lunch then did long slow trip back to dock. Just before getting to dock, went to power up and it sounded/felt like it was skipping. Did not lose power, more like 1 cylinder would skip ever so often. Today, she would idle fine, go to throttle up and it felt like it was skipping a beat every so often. Top speed seemed ok.
Question, would a fuel issue cause something like a skip? I would have though power loss would be primary indicator of fuel issue. Do ppower packs go a little at a time or all at once? What would be a good way of testing electrical system to see if maybe a cylinder is not getting proper electrical supply?
I know this is fairly vague. So is the sensation when running, but it is there and a precursor to something I'm sure.
Thanks,
Winfield
