I pulled my top carb off to see if I had any trash in bowl and was a little suprised when I took bowl off and not one drop of fuel was in the bowl. Ran engine last Sat.is this normal or do I need to do a rebuild while I have it off.

Howdy, Bill M.

You would have saved a lot of time and trouble if you had made this post a reply on your original.

Yes, overhaul both carbs. Your original post indicated probable carb problems.

Good luck. :)

Sorry about that JB, was not thinking. Will do in the future. I do appreciate your time. Anyway I got two kits and have rebuilt the top one will do the bottom one at another time. Not a whole lot to this carb, but did not notice anything unusual. Inspected reed valves and they seemed ok. Thanks and I will keep you posted on my progress.
