1988 Johnson 6 hp power problem

I have a Johnson 6 hp J6RLCCS and have a problem. After using the tiller kicker for trolling today, on the way back to the ramp I lost almost all of my power. The motor starts and runs but with the tiller at full throttle, I am barely at a high idle. Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Dave.

Start with some basic checks, spark and compression.
You might also check your fuel pump pressure and flow.

Thanks for responding Daviet. It ended up being a broken roller cam follower. Hard to believe that piece of plastic lasted, as long as it did, under all of that stress.
