1 have a 1988 merc 70 hp will run fine for weeks at time,then will stall and not restart for hours,has no spark when quits,when brought to dealer,runs fine,sat at dealer for 2 weeks,ran ever time,any ideas
I'd have a look at the "tilt" switch<br />for the starter interlock it's a mercury switch<br />a freind of mine replaced his stator and lots of other crap after he spent lots of money on non refundable electrical parts he nmoticed the mercury switch for the tilt posistion
