I just aquired a 1988 SmokerCraft I/O with an OMC Cobra 4.3 Litre. The boat had been winterized, then sat in a garage for 6 years. Put in a new battery, and decided to check things. Vertical drive goes down, but when I try to put it up, no sound. Switched the wires on the relays. Still won't go up, but makes a sound. (high pitched sound in tilt/trim motor). I unhooked the hydraulic shocks and tried again...neither of them are moving. Everything has been greased, and fluids added to tilt/trim motor. Any suggestions?
