To Whom It May Concern:

My dad and I have found an old OMC Charger that has is going to be a great refurbishing project. Hull and motor seem to be in good shape. I am having difficulty with finding, for lack of better words, "canopy, top, bimi top, shade thingy that hides you from the sun when driving" one of those things. I have scoured the internet trying to find a back piece for the back of the boat. I have the front canopy, but do not have the back piece. Could someone please assist me on finding this piece. I would deeply appreciate it.

Thanks

Welcome to iBoats!

You're not going to find it. Old boat parts basically don't exist, unfortunately.

Most people go with bimini tops. They're cheap, effective and don't close off any part of the boat, but still provide shade. They fit pretty much everything (and look cool).

If you're new to boats, your boat isn't made by OMC, but the drive probably is, though. When you talk about your boat to a parts guy - they will only care about the drive and engine. The make/model of a boat (after a while) becomes pretty much irrelevant because the fiberglass hull is really the only manufacturer-specific thing.

All old boats are cool, though. Just an FYI.
