Tried to take advantage of a 70 degree day in Atlanta today but the starter would only spin, not engage. Any help would be appreciated. Is the starter easy to replace? Is it best to by new or rebuilt ? In advance, thanks for the help.
Dmorse before you replace that starter try putting some pb blaster or wd 40 on the shaft below the Bendix on the worm gear.<br /> you can take your hand and roll the Bendix up far enough to do this.<br />had a 135 do this to me and that is what I did. I use pb blaster because it seems to have more lube in it
