1988 Suzuki DT200

Hi,<br />I'm having a 1988 Suzuki DT200 rebuilt. I found a block from a 1998 Suzuki DT150TCX for a good price and wanted to know if it would work on my engine. It is my understanding that the 150 through 225 use the same block (2.7 Liter V6), but have different carbs. I was thinking I could dismount all my electronics and carbs and other things and mount to this motor. Would this work? Thanks!!

The 1988 is carb. and the 1998 is fuel inj. The block are different. You maybe able to take the hold motor and put on your mid section. because the under plates are the same. You will need everthing from the 1998 to make it work.
