1988 Winner Chameleon Fish/Ski Onboard Battery Charger?

I have a port on the front of my boat that is labeled "Charger or 12v ACC" but when I flip the cover up, I don't recognize the prongs on the inside....Does this mean my boat came from the factory with an on board charger? I can't seem to find the power source for it anywhere. Its a 3 battery system (12v or 24v) whatever that means. I've been using a portable charger and its been working fine but it is a pain to switch from battery to battery to battery all week to maintain charge. Is there a power cable I can plug into this port to charge all 3? Thanks

I couldn't really see just what outlet you have, but I expect that it has a suitably sized wire and fuse protection that could supply a heavy appliance or you could back-feed it with a charger that will charge whichever battery the system is connected to at the time. Without knowing how your boat's wiring is laid out, it's a little hard to advise, especially with both12 and 24 volt available. I have a small 3.3 amp on-board charger/maintainer that is connected directly (via fuse) to my 12V electrical system. I have only 2 identical heavy duty deep cycle batteries with a battery switch that I can manually select to either battery at my whim. I alternate to ensure both are functional, fully charged and fully backed-up so to speak, as one is always waiting on standby. By securing the charger directly to the electrical system, I can select which battery gets the next charge when sitting as a trailer queen, but I don't have the 24V complication. - Grandad
