1989 125HP Outboard Force - carburator issues

Hello - I bougth a 1989 19ft bayliner with a force 125HP outboard and after a couple of times running and 2 bad storms (last year) the boat died and would not start. After pulling it and having a mechanic recommended by a friend look at it he said the carburetor was completely done and needed replacement. We also cleansed the fuel tank and used a portable tank during the tests to ensure the tank was not causing further issues.

I have spoken to a few people around and seems nearly impossible to find the carburetor. Any recommendations as to where to look for it?

I am based in LI-NY but guess it could be bough online.

Thanks lasso - I found one on ebay listed as a 1987 and had a compatibility chart (link) would you know how to figure out if the item is compatible?

I could not see any of those numbers listed on the carb...
