1989 150 GT Johnson no spark

Just replaced power pack still no spark to plugs<br /> I was told to check emergency kill switch . I <br /> have a three wire switch on a Ranger boat that i<br /> could wire the two black wires with yellow tracers to check the kill switch if it was bad it<br /> should get fire this way and if that didnt work<br /> i could take a wire loose on the motor and if it<br /> cranked i could not kill it with the switch which<br /> would tell me the switch is bad.<br /><br /> HELP! IM CONFUSED

You can unplug the big cannon plug and jump start straint to the starter. That will take the entire control harness out of the equation. If she gets fire that way you know the problem is from the cannon plug forward.

Ok i unplugged main cannon shorted acoss solenoid<br /> motor spins over but still no spark what should<br /> i check next?
