1989 150xp rude

i have a 1989 150xp vro that is shuting down after you start it question is if the vro pump is getting bad on the gas side of the pump will it shut the engine down so it doesn't fill the carbs full of oil ? i have replaced the fuel lines,filter, s plugs checked p packs all seems fine. when it shuts down if you squeeze the primer bulb you can hear something click then it fires right up

Malfunctions in the VRO2 will sound an alarm.

Some functions can enable S.L.O.W., but a blocking diode in the wiring harness is supposed to prevent that from happening

The VRO system does not have the ability to stop the engine [except by running it out of fuel or burning it up].
