1989 - 1991 150 hp force parts ?

I have a 1991 150 force and need some parts . I have found a 1989 150 force and wanted to know if most parts are interchangable . Like the mounting / steering bracket , engine block, base plate , crank and connection rods . I know a lot of my parts on my 1991 are mercury , with the thunderbolt electrial system . I was wondering can that thunderbolt system be put on that 1989 , 150 ? Thanks for the input ! JB

Most all of the parts will swap out.

But, the entire ignition and charging system should be swapped out together.
Don't mix components from the 2 different ignition systems.
