1989 22' sea swirl sable

on plane I have no problem with wandering but I slow down to troll I can't spin the wheel fast enough to keep up. No matter what you do it will not stay in a straight line.
It has an OMC In/out Board 5.7 I also have problem coming up on plane unless somebody sits on the front rail to hold the front end down.

Smart tab it. Problem gone. Helps tremendously with low speed wander and holeshot for a boat your size.

If it's a V-hull it will wander at slow speed. Just let it wander, it will pretty well go in the general direction if you just make small corrections.

Do you have your motor trimmed all the way down when trying to plane? That 5.7 should have plenty of power plane quick and go fast.
