Fresh powerhead good compression. Ran great till yesterday while out on Erie. Started idling rough up to about 2500 RPM's then it runs great. To get it back to the ramp {idle zone} I had to keep hitting the primer in doing so it would idle up for a bit then again start to die. Sounded like it was running on one cyl. HELP

If picking up when hitting the primer, you have a carb problem. It might be a clogged jet, it might be an air-leak.

Just came in from checking all hoses, couple clamps loose and blew out carbs and ran tip cleaner threw the idle?? jet. Soon as it get light will hook it to the hose and see what happens.

'The hose' is not for testing idle!! Get in the water at correct back-pressure - then test.

I realize that, just want to confirm it will idle before dragging it 15 miles to water.
