Do I need to remove the four bolts (studs) that are in the transom gimbal plate that go thru the hull to reseal the threads? If so do I heat up the housing and place vice grips on them to remove which will then knurl them all up. Also What about the lower anode bolts? They have black sealant in a square configuration that is deteriorated. I don't think they would make a good seal. Lord I don't want to miss anything after all the work that I have done so far.
Please advise your experience. Oh and do I purchase new nylock nuts for all the transom bolts as I did for the upper square/square steering arm pin? Thanks so much.

Ayuh,..... The seal is at the transom housin' to the hull, All the studs are in the Dry area,....

Whether ya use new nuts is up to you, the studs only need to be pulled if they're rotten,...
Otherwise, clean 'em up, 'n go,...

If ya do pull 'em, heat the studs, not the housin',...

You can double-nut 'em, 'n take 'em out with a wrench,...
Reinstall the same way,....

The bottom 2 bolts are aluminum continuity bolts, that have anodes on the outside ends,....

Again, be careful with any sealants, as they need to maintain continuity with the housin's,...
Also make sure all those little continuity straps are all there, 'n in good shape on the rest of the housin' assembly,...
Yer lookin' for a Clean, Electrical connection,.... Continuity,.......
