I took this boat out for the first time last weekend. When we started out the oil pressure was fine. After an hour or so the oil pressure dropped almost to redline. I docked the boat and checked the oil level. It took 2 quarts to bring the level back to a safe level on the dip stick. We tried going back out but, the smoke in the engine compartment was too bad to stay out on the lake. We took the boat out of the water. I went to pull the plug on the boat and found it was full of oil. I replugged it brought the boat home.

I am waiting on a manual that should arrive here by Friday but, was wondering from reading all the topics here if any of you boaters have any suggestions for me?

Drain the oil from the bilge into a bucket and take it to the local garage, they can get rid of it for ya'. As for your oil leak, you're going to have to run it on the muffs and see where it's coming from. You said there's smoke in the engine compartment so chances are your rocker cover gasket is leaking onto your exhaust. If that's the only leak it'll be a cheap fix.

.......smoke in the engine compartment? did you spill the oil on the exhaust manifold? is the valve cover gasket allowing oil to leak?
did you check the oil level after you pulled it from the water?
