1989 citation 1900cc

I am looking to buy a 1989 citation 1900cc cuddy...I have found one for $2500 bucks and it is in good running order however the interior is in rough shape...Does anyone have any info or idea as to what caliber citation falls into...and are they like a bayliner stay far away or are they a good quality boat.

Boats are really only as good as the care they recieve. If the interior is crapped out then I would be dubious of the general care it recieved over its life. Citations have a little bit of a cult like following. I have a friend with one that has a 454 racing engine in it. 60+ mph. He calls it his "sleeper" boat.

what condition do you expect the interior of a almost 20 y/o to look like. if it hasn't been redone. look at the structure, not the cosmetics. anybody can put lipstick on a witch.
