1989 Dt150

I have 1989 21' Winner with a 1989 Suzuki DT150. The problem I seem to be having is at high speed the steering is realy hard. I just checked and notice the fin above the prop is turned to left quit of bit, Would that be a problem ? If so how do i move it back, And where should it be? The steering is easy at low speed just having a problem with higher speeds. Please help my arms are tired.

all steerings are quite hard if you don't have hydraulic steering when going WOT ....... the fin (trim tab) you are talking about is basically for your boats "wheel alignment", when your boat pull left or right you set the fin to make it even, to adjust it loosen the bolt holding it and adjust accordingly .....

Bobs performance outboards has a torque plate for $30,I have not tried it but it isw said to help steering.They have a internet site.
