I am trying to convert my 89 60hp vro to a regular fuel pump. I have been researching the post and thought I had bought the correct pump, but I guess not.... I bought the Sierra # 18-7352 ... but I have no place to mount it ??? due to the fact the the vaccum inlet is on the pump housing itself .... What pump do I need to get ??

pulse line is on the housing itself..why is that a problem?..due to mounting?... or did you actually hokk it all up and she doesnt pump?...

connect everything up and see if she does what she issupposed to..then figure out how you will mount it. get createive, use something..make your own bracket..etc..

The new fuel pump has a fitting for gas in ...a fitting for gas out ..and no fitting for pulse .... it is a hole in the back of the new pump that would normally connect to the engine when you mounted the new pump ... i don't have the correct mounting conf on the engine to mount ??

You can get a pump from a Bombardier dealer with the external pulse fitting. Keep the VRO bracket where it is, cut a piece of aluminum roof flashing to match the shape of the bracket, screw the flat flashing piece to the bracket with sheet metal screws, hold the new pump over it and drill mounting holes where needed, get some small s/s bolts and mount the pump to that flat surface. All you need is some new fuel line from NAPA to make all the hookups. It's really simple. My take awhile, but not hard.
