Hello everyone. iv owned a Bayliner 17' bow-rider for several years and just recently traded up to a pontoon with an Evinrude cross-flow 90 V4.I am having an overheat alarm on this thing at idle and not much water flow from pee hole.so i investigate the water pump because i would rather replace it and work my way up.impeller and everything looks good,my quandary is....where does this pump deliver water up into the heads from? is it from the center of the pump via the rubber grommet or the adjacent plastic tube which fits into the brass pipe heading up into the engine ? there is no grommet for that pipe to the pump, should there be one? thank you for your help..
