1989 Force 50 hp

Does anybody know if a carburetor from a 1989 Force 50 hp p/n we17c can be replaced with a carburetor from a 1988 Force 50 hp p/n we17a?

Yes. It will bolt right up.

Check the jet in the carb.
They didn't all have the same one.
It's simple to remove and replace.
