Since you already have the lower unit off you might as well replace the impeller. Bent up corners may reduce water flow but I doubt it would stop it all together. Take off the therostat cover and remove the t-stat, you should see two holes, pour some water down the first hole. Water should come out of the relief port(holes on middle of leg). If no water then you have a clog. Hope this helps.

Get a factory manual. Then start looking up parts for your particular motor.Profile?Model @ serial#?
Boats.net has good diagrams for most motors.
Post pics of the impeller and the housing.J

Which engine do you have? On the 1990 Force 150, you get exhaust out the holes in the back of the leg, along with some water spray at higher rpms.

I wouldn't be shoving a pressure washer up the brass pick up tube....doesn't sound good. You say you're not getting water out the holes....I assume you're talking about while the engine is running and warmed up, correct?

You might not have enough water pressure on the hose.Get a big trash can and fill it with water. Best place to test is in the lake/ocean/river(profile) on the hose you supply of water is limited.
If the impeller is old while it's out change it.Change it anyway.
Is the shaft seal in the housing OK?
You can do damage with a pressure washer.Too much pressure could push the connecting seal out and you will never get enough water till you remove the powerhead and fix it.
The two holes are for the pressure relief valve. If you motor is operating right and the valve isin't stuck you might not get any water out of there till you reach high RPMs.Most should come out the snout anyway.
Fill out the profile you might be close to someone who can help.J

hey i tried today with higher rpm still no water coming out i will try tomorrow to buy a new water pump kit and see if that will help because it feels like there is a pressure from the two holes on the leg
