Hi, I am replacing the trim pump and when I removed the old one I noticed there is one skrew and place for another one. Could not find this one in my manual so would like to ask if someone in the forum can tell me if I am missing a skrew and if not what is the purpose of having 1 skrew here.

Kind regards
Mikko

No, you are not missing a screw. The one in front is the UP check valve and that screw compresses a spring which in turn compresses a ball bearing. This regulates pump pressure. Do not change the setting of the screw. The one without the screw is the DOWN circuit and a check valve is not necessary there,

Simply to confuse matters though, some pumps DO have two screws. LOL
