1989 Hydra-Sports 2200DC w/ Opti 225 Prop Sizing

Just put a 2004 Opti 225 with a Mirage Plus 15.75" x 15" pitch prop on my 22' Hydra-Sports dual console. WOT hit 40mph at 5350 RPM's. I thought this boat with a 225 would do over 40mph at WOT and the sticker on the motor says max RPM is 5750... am I over propped? If so what diameter/pitch should I change to?

Total boat weight during this test (including gas, motor, passengers, etc) was around 3,850lb's. Here's a pic of the boat for reference:

Try. A 14 1/4 x19 you May reduce rpm but you may pu top end . I had a 86 with a 225 and it did close to 40 with that prop
