1989 Johnson 100GT alternator?

First question, Does a 1989 100HP (100GT) Johnson outboard come with an alternator?

2. does anyone know of a good repair manual for this outboard?

3. should the outboard let out a chirp to test the warning horn when the key is turned?

I get no "chirp" so I need to figure that out. Where is the horn located?

Im going over today and look at the motor, so im not looking at it right now. I guess it might be in an obvious place.

I just bought the boat a few days ago

You can get an original factory service manual from Ken Cook Co., in Milwaukee, or from Outboardbooks.com.
