I have it idleing fine now, but afer 10 minutes of running it with the throttle up the engine slows down the shuts off by its self, then it tkes 5 or so minutes to get it running again, then after that it runs kind of rough. ANY IDEAS?

Is your outboard pumping water properly? Overheating will give you those symptoms. If you aren't getting proper water flow, then this must be fixed forthwith, or you're facing engine damage.

If it's cooling OK, think fuel starvation. Check your tank vent and make sure it's working properly. When the engine quits, try removing the tank cap. If it sucks air, the vent isn't working. Also, if the bulb is flat, that's another symptom of a blocked vent.

I am thinking right away of the power pack over heating. You can pull it away from the engine and still run the motor see if you a get a couple of minturs more on the first run of the day. The extra heat from the powerhead would get you there faster. If you get a fes more minutes extra I would be thinking that it.
steve
