I was changing the gear oil on the motor and I accidentally pulled out both the drain screw on the left, and the pivot screw on the right side. Of course I started looking things up after I was done changing the gear oil.

Once I had taken the pivot screw out I was able to get it back in without too much trouble. I tried shifting it and it seemed to shift fine. I am just a little bit worried about running the motor now. When I had pulled that pivot screw out there was oil coming out of it that looked the same as the gear oil.

Is there something else I should try before I run the motor again?

If the screw is installed correctly it should shift into forward and reverse, if it does you are probably OK.
The pivot screw is submerged in the lower unit oil, so you would get lower unit oil out of the hole if you removed the pivot screw.

As long as you can shift it through the gears with the engine not running and the lower unit is full of oil, you should be OK.
