1989 Johnson tracker 60hp questions

Hello all!

I got myself a new project for the winter. Its a 1989 Johnson Tracker 60hp with bad piston (melted hole on dome).

Just wondering if the Clymer manual for the johnson , evinrude models also covers the tracker model...

Also, would anyone have a good used powerhead for sale

The tracker is just a Johnson/Evinrude with a different color and decals. Since you are getting into overhaul work, you will be happier with an original manual for the engine. Contact Ken Cook Co. in Milwaukee, Wisc.

get the Original Johnson Service manual, http://www.outboardbooks.com/ or look up searayman13 on ebay, he usually has the manuals at a reduced price.

Clymers are for the bottom of the Birdcage.
