1989 Malibu Sunsetter Euro F3 restore

So Ibought this boat for $400. It came with a 1999 v m custom trailer tandelm axle. The boat didnt have an engine butit had all the parts from where someone took the mercruiser 350 out. They even left the velvet drive transmission. So what idid was buy a stern drive mercruiser 305 model mcm200 with thunderbolt ignition. I got it all bolted up and imalmost done. Just have a few question that hopefully you guys can answer for me. I would really appreciate it. Whats the part that brings up water from the bottom of the boat. And were can i install it ona chevy305

I think my engine I have now might be a closed coolant system and I need to install my sea water pump from a mercruiser 350 into it does anyone have any knowledge in this

Give me a sec and I’ll let you know what you can do I’m reading the same manual

I believe all you have to do is disconnect the power steering pump and cooler and the sea pump should connect to the same spot as it connected to the 350. Then after that what you want to do is go from the pump to your heat exchanger which goes to the velvet drive transmission. Hope this helps
