need help i have a 1989 searay with a 3.0 mercruiser i bought it last summer and it not really run right it only ran at 3000 rpm and 28 mph i changed the plugs and wires the points and cap and button the coil and rebuilt the carb. still no better and a few weeks ago the impeller went bad and it over heated 300 and a lot cracking and poping when i had it fixed i asked them to check the block and head to see it i cracked them or not they said everything was ok the replaced the thermostat and impeller and now it only runs at 2500 rpm and 20 mph i talked to a searay service tech and they told me it sounded like a blow head gasket from being so hot.. but no water in oil or steam they said it could be blown between 2 and 3 cylinder so i check the compression today and as follow

1 90
2 30
3 30
4 80

is this a sign of a blow head gasket if so how hard are they to change and also i was reading some threads about it and it also said if the timing is off it will give low rpm how the best way to check the timing and where should it be set at? can someone help me out on this????
