1989 Mercury 35hp Temp Question

I have a 1989 Mercury 35hp that i got a few years ago, and i was wondering if it has a temp overhear alarm.

I was just wondering bc i dont recall if it does or not.

Yes, but you need to go and check the engine it will either be beside the upper spark plug or screwed into the water jacket near the top, it will have a tan wire on it and if you ground it with the key on it should beep.
