1989 OMC 4.3 Trim and Tilt Cylinder rebuild question

I've removed both the port and stbd Trim and Tilt cylinders from the outdrive. I have the Seal Kit for re-sealing both sides. I thought the hard part was done when I was able to remove the caps (using a spanner wrench)... But to my surprise these Piston units do not have a bolt (see first pic) to put a wrench on in order to remove the "knuckle" (see second pic) on the Piston shaft - so that I can replace the seal inside the cylinder cap (see third pic).

Any suggestions on removing knuckle in order to remove the cylinder cap?

Ayuh,........ I think that's what the 4 holes in the end of it are for,......

Ayutt! Son of a gun, the heat wave baked my brain!

I stared at the end and thought "hmmm a spanner wrench dumb a$$"! That and some heat to loosen up the loctite on the knuckle and wouldn't you know it - it came off! Sorry, brain fart - big time!
