1989 Reinell 16 ft 3.0 L Cobra 4 cylinder Timing Chain Or Belt?

Quick question, I have a 89 3.0 l Cobra engine Serial 302AMRMED . That the timing cover is leaking. If its a chain then im hoping its just the cover since there is suppose to have oil in it. If its a belt may be a crank shaft seal?. Either way there is a crack in the timing cover so it needs to be replace. Anyone know where i can get one and if its a Chain or belt?

neither, it's two gears.

O well thank you , i was looking at this http://www.boats.net/parts/search/OMC/SternDrive/1989/302AMRMED/CRANKCASE/parts.html
So there is suppose to be oil in there.

NOZZLE, Timing gear oil part 19 on that list. Boat runs great just the oil out of the timing seal
