1989 Starfire Entertainer 245 questions...

Hi all,
I am about to pull the trigger on the above mentioned boat. I have done some research and found it to be a very heavy, over built boat, produced by a now defunct company. The one I am looking at needs a bit of cosmetic TLC, but mechanically seems to be sound. It has a 5.7 merc, and all the updated goodies. I have a very simple question, What is the fuel capacity of this boat? I cant find any specs online. The used car dealer that I am purchasing from has no idea. Thanks!

Hi. If the fuel tank is accessible ( maybe a hatch or visible when looking in the engine bay) there may be a label giving volume info.

Bought the boat. Turns out it's an 84 gallon fuel tank. (sheesh!) Even though it came with all kinds of manuals, now I have a myriad of other questions. Like, it has a cuddy with a porta potty, and there are two hoses behind the porta potty that are just loose. One is the size of a garden hose and the other is much bigger in diameter and is connected to a chrome screw out cap up on the bow and is stamped waste. Anyone have any ideas? Ive never had a boat with a head. Thanks for schooling this newbie. Dan
