Hello,

I have a question. When you run your boat at idle it gets hot on the heads but if you raise the RPM's but not over 1500 rpm's it is cool. What I mean is I can hold my fingers on the heads for a few seconds say about 3 to 4 seconds at idle before I have to remove them, but at higher RPM's I can leave my fingers on the heads all day seems like. Is this normal? I think I know the answer but want to see what you guys the experts think. Yes, I did run this while the boat is on the trailer with the water muffs on the motor at full water hose pressure and it peed a good stream of water out of the tale-tale.

Hello everyone,

I am sorry I made a mistake. I thought I was on the Johnson/Evinrude site. I didn't realize this until after I posted this. Can someone bump this topic back to the Johnson/Evinrude site? Thanks

Might be quicker just to repost it there yourself, or wait for a mod to find it and move it.
