1989 Wellcraft NovaXL 23 restoration

So a good friend of mine's parents had a boat they they have been storing. They bought a new boat a few years back so they covered and winterized this one and parked it as a spare boat. Well, they are trying to clear out some stuff now so he texted me and said I could have the boat if I wanted. They wanted it to go to someone who would enjoy it.

It's a 1989 Wellcraft NovaXL with a 454 Mercruiser, Bravo 1 drive, Captains Call exhaust and a couple other upgrades.

Should be getting it home this week or next. Will post more pics when it gets here.

Very cool boat. I’ve ridden on a 26’ nova and the ride quality is exceptional. I had looked at them myself, but most seemed to be equipped with the 350/alpha1, which isn’t bad, but isn’t great either. That 454/bravo should move right along.
