I Purchased this boat about 4 years ago. The person I bought it from mentioned that in the summer, while trolling, the over heat buzzer would sound once in a while. This happened to me just a a couple of times in 4 years, no big issue and would stop after a few minutes shut down. Since, I had a new impeller installed and believe it or not, the problem is worse. It seems that there may have been a small blockage for quite some time and has just gotten worst. Also, is there a thermostat on this motor? Any help would be appreciated.
I pulled the thermistate and tested it and it was bad. Installed a new one and will water test the boat this weekend. Hope this resolves the overheating issue.
