The boat is new to me and came with an 1989 90 ETLF Yamaha.
Looks like the tilt/trim wires were never hooked up the the gauge which is a digital Yamaha gauge to which I haven't been able to figure out the P/N for. I've hooked up the wires according to a PDF I found here. Wires are hooked up as follows Pink/Pink, Grey/Grey, Orange/Orange, Black/Black-White with the 2nd colour being the gauge wiring colour. The tach works along with the lights on it, the oil sensor currently isn't hooked up so I can't verify that.
Does anybody have an idea if I've hooked it up with the wrong reference to wiring, and if there's a wiring diagram of the tilt/trim sender? I've been unsuccessful in searches for information on this vintage motor. Or do I have a possible bad sender? If so how on earth does one test it?
