I just got a used 1990 16' Spectrum Escort (made by Tracker) and am removing the original Humminbird in dash depth finder and replacing with a tach. the terminals on gauge are:
Gnd- got it
IGN-
SEND-
LT
Can someone tell me exactly where to make the connections for IGN and SEND? The motor is a 35hp Force. There seems to be a connection on the engine terminal block labeled 'tach', but the only wire attached to it is the harness that goes from the motor to the console. Where in the engine do I make the connection? Also, would anyone have a schematic of the ignition switch and gauges? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!
