I know that this is a common topic and I have read alot of good old posts on the subject.
Engine ran well last week then developed a mid range bog that I could push through to 5100.
This has gotten worse and now it won't get over 2000.
I have done the following: Removed & inspected both pumps. Diaphragms were not torn. Yammie dealer only had one new pump, replaced the top one. New Yam primer bulb, new gasket & O ring in line filter, 2 cans fuel conditioner, another new W/F separator, (good deal of dirty water in the old one,(2 weeks old). Set new NGK's. No change at all. Will install other pump when I can find one but I don't have alot of faith that that will cure it. Expert suggestions please.
Also digtal tach will come on but won't register RPM. Which wire did I knock off?
thanks, Cons

Yes on the carbs and the green wire is the tach sending wire.

Still no good!! Removed each carb & opened float bowls. Not really alot of obvious dirt in them. Took out floats & jets & sprayed all w/ carb cleaner. Blew carb cleaner thru fuel lines.
Engine stared up & idles fine but will not rev up. Will run OK @ 2000 but more throttle will bog & stall out.
Any more thoughts appreciated. thanks Cons

You have what appears to be a fuel restriction. Carbs need to be disassembled completly and soaked overnight in cleaner and then flow tested. They then need to be reassembled with the correct float settings and new bowl gaskets. Other fuel pump needs to be replaced. If you had a lot of dirt and water in filter, you need to drain fuel tank and likely replace filter again.
