I have a problem with he engine starting. I'll use it all morning, starting it multiple times and then it wont start in the afternoon. It happened to me Saturday. When I got home I checked the battery charge (12.5 volts) so that wasn't the problem. Next I pulled the plugs and they were wet with gas and oil. So, I guess I need to work on the carb. Anything else I should worry about? Any tips or hints with adjusting the carb?

check spark before going to the carbs, what is your compression? do you have an emergency lanyard? if no spark, unplug the big red plug, then jump the starter solenoid, big incoming post to small post next to it. if it is wired correctly, this should turn the motor over and you should have spark. if it starts, you have to choke it inorder to stop the motor. if this work you have problem, in the harness, controller or safety lanyard.
