This motor has been sitting for almost 10 years. It turns over has good spark it will just start to run but when it does there is fuel spilling out of the carb. Any ideas?

Do you have the silencer cover off and is it coming out the vent? If so, you have a stuck needle valve. Carbs will need teardown and cleaning/rebuild kits after 10 years.

Yes. That is the next step. Just throwing this out there and seeing if that's all that needs to be done. I'm new to this game. My first boat.

Rebuild the carbs with new kits, replace impeller and replace all fuel line as they rot from the inside out.

It'll be one thing then another with an engine that has been sitting. Knock them off as you find them - whack a mole style.

Per your video, your top carb is barfing fuel because the needle is stuck open. Might be a fragment of crud from a crumbling fuel line. You should replace ALL the rubber hoses under the motor cover, and put a filter between the tank and motor in case there's any crud there. Use fuel line rated SAE 30R9 to prevent any issues with ethanol fuels.

Also, have you looked at the water pump impeller? 10 years is a long time for one even if it was new just before last use.

Not looked at impeller yet but I'm replacing that along with all fuel lines and carb kits just as a matter of course. Already put new starter and solenoid on her even though the old ones still worked now starting system is fresh.
