Took the boat out ran great took it out the next no spark turns over plenty of fuel even tried starter fluid.... nothin just cranking ( what type distributor/ coil pack ) do I need?

Need to do some testing

It ran great last time and now your can crank it over but there is no fire and start?

That being the case we need to look at the kill switch, if you have one, has it been pulled?
When turning the igntion ON, do you have 12V at the + side of the coil?

Hey fellas it was the distributor an rotor inside it wasnt making a connection ( strange) but we sand blasted the connection parts an fire's right up... gonna do the same next 4 days ( firing up the motor) just to make sure bc I hate getting to the lake an not working THANK YOU AGAIN AN GREATFUL FOR SITE ID BE LOST IN THIS NEW BOATING ADVENTURE

Sand blasting the parts inside the distributor is not the best idea. It sounds like a general tune up is in order. New cap and rotor at the least. Is this points or electronic ignition?

It's crazy you said that bc that exactly what I did an she fired up everytime like brand new
