Hey guys,
My name is Gerald. I have a 1990 Cheetah cuddy cabin and im replacing the main floor area not including the cuddy area. I have pulled up the floor and am starting to pull out the rotted 1by6's that were the support beams. The problem is that they are fiberglassed to high heaven!! so my question is should i stick to the same pattern they originally had when i go to replace these support boards or is there a better way? should I go up to a different size? Also, im using a multi-tool to gut through the fiberglass so I can pull up the boards, but it's kickin my a@#!! is there a better way? I dont want to cut to deep and risk going into the hull. any help would be greatly appreciated!
